Biography:
Jon Lehman serves as Associate Dean of Students responsible for admissions, student life and career placement. He also serves as Professor for the Practice of Management and as a member of the Executive and Health Care Program Committees at Owen. From 2005 to 2010 he also served as Associate Dean for Health Care with responsibility for the launch and successful development of the health care management programs. He joined Owen in 2005 as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management focused on health care information technology. An entrepreneur and private investor focusing on health care, technology and education-related companies, Associate Dean Lehman previously served as President and CEO of Evolved Digital Systems, a leading provider of digital-based image and information management systems for the health care industry and Executive Vice President and Director of Futurekids, Inc., an international computer training publisher that helped K-12 schools use technology to transform education. In 1990, he founded and served as Principal of The Section Companies, a consulting and private investment firm whose clients included The Walt Disney Company and Ziff-Davis. Earlier in his career, Associate Dean Lehman was an associate with McKinsey & Company; special projects manager for the publishing division of Capital Cities; and marketing manager for Fairchild Publications in New York. He was also honored as a White House Fellow National Finalist in 1994. Associate Dean Lehman has served as a board member of Leadership Nashville; the Joe C. Davis Outdoor Center of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee; the Tennessee Repertory Theatre; the Nashville Academy Theatre; and the Young Leader's Council.
